Thursday found us on Isla Roatan, Honduras ready for a day of sun on the beach. |
We staked out our beach chairs, pulled out our reading materials… |
… and relaxed... |
…and soaked up the sun! |
In addition to the Sun and Sand there was a fenced lagoon containing Sea Turtles... |
…and other sea life including a Shark as Ed points out. |
We also think we spotted “The Old Man getting out of the Sea”… |
… which then made it safe for some “Beauties of the Sea” to enter the water! |
As the day rolled along, a roving minstrel appeared with microphone in hand and the Island Music (a.k.a. Bob Marley) began! He was backed up by a keyboard player in a pavilion behind us. |
He took requests and even indulged us… |
…as we sang along! |
And, as usual, any time the music starts, Connie and Robbin have to dance... this time a Cha Cha in the sand! |
Sadly it came time to settle up the tab and head back to the ship… |
…saying Good Bye to a great day at the Beach! |
| We all gathered again for the nightly Oldies Dance in Satchmo’s Club. |
At dinner, the Maitre'De joins in the evening's entertainment! |
While doing some late-night dancing in Satchmo’s Club, Dave and Cathy made a new friend Kathryn (you’ll have to get them to tell you the whole story)! |
